Consultants re-engaged to finalise designs.

Following the full business case approval by Birmingham City Council’s cabinet procurement committee in September 2011, the project consultants, Turner and Townsend and Capita Lovejoy have been authorised to commence the next stage of the project development. It is anticipated that tenders will be sought in March 2012 with work starting on site in late June 2012.

ERDF grant approved

A substantial grant in the sum of £691,000 has been secured via European Regeneration Development Funding that will enable the development of a unique and high quality design to be delivered.
